This is a DAMAGED device and may lose some or all of the functionality it had at the time of testing.
No power via internal battery compartment.
The device is permanently in the HOLD state, and the HOLD switch does not work as expected.
The disc eject mechanism jams, so you have to tip a disc out of the player.
When using an external AA battery case and inline remote control, the player works as expected.

Front Face : Some marks, scratches, or scuffs.
Sides : A few small marks.
Rear Face : Some small scuffs, marks, or scratches.
Internal Battery Compartment : Past corrosion has damaged the battery terminals. No power using a gumstick battery.
There are no noticeable dents or signs of crushing.
All external facing screws present and tightened.

The Sony MZ-EH50 is a Hi-MD compatible MiniDisc player. It is fully compatible with standard MiniDisc media. It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality. 
Released in 2005, it weighs 80 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
