Released in 2000, the Sony MZ-E700 is the first iteration of the 7xx series of MiniDisc players (700,707,710,720,and 730).
It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
It supports MDLP and features:

• Eight treble and eight bass sound settings (64 possible settings in total).
