Released in 2004, the Sony MZ-E630 is the final iteration of the 6xx series of MiniDisc players (600,606W,610,620,and 630). It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
It supports MDLP and features anti-shock 'G PROTECTION', disc memory, a digital amplifier, a six band equalizer, and ATRAC type S technology.
It was only released in Japan.
It weighs 72 grams without a battery or disc installed.
