Not sure which device this particular variation was sold with. It's very similar to the one that came with the SJ-MJ17 MiniDisc player, but not identical.
The 'Album Mode' and 'HighMAT' printed text above the display panel suggest this is a remote from a portable Panasonic CD player.
Tested with both SJ-MJ10 and SJ-MJ17 portable MiniDisc players. In both cases, all buttons function as expected. However, some of the display items were corrupted, like track number.
