Released in 2003, the Kenwood DMC-S33 is dedicated to disc playback and does not have disc recording functionality.
It supports MDLP.
The DMC-S** series was made in Japan. It was available in four, 'vitamin' colours; blue, green, orange, and pink.
It features a digital amplifier that delivers clear and powerful audio by reducing sound quality deterioration in the audio circuitry while also reducing power consumption.
Kenwood claimed that it could deliver up to 42 hours of continuous playback (SP mode) from a fully charged Kenwood gumstick battery.
It weighs 73 grams without a battery or disc installed.
