Power Via Rechargeable Li-ion Battery - OK ** Rechargeable Li-ion battery is not included in the sale **
*** Note that this model originally came with a Kenwood NB-L11 battery, but I tested the device using a Sharp AD-T51BT, which is fully compatible ***
Power Via External AA Battery Case - Not tested ** External AA battery case is not included in the sale **
*** Apparently, when using an external AA battery case it's still necessary to have a rechargeable Li-ion battery inside the device, but I have not been able to confirm this as I don't have a AA battery case for this model **
