Product Condition (Appearance):
The device has signs of wear and tear on the front face. The silver paint has worn away on three of the face buttons (stop, play, and pause).
There are minor scraches or marks on the display panel. Difficult to notice them.
The text for AVLS and Synchro Rec on the side of the device has worn away.
The rear face is in better condition and there are only a few minor scratches or marks.

Product Information:
The Sony MZ-R55 is the successor to the MZ-R50. It has both playback and recording functionality. 
Released in 1998, it features 40 second anti-shock memory, two step bass boost, and selectable microphone sensitivity (HIGH/LOW). 
It was the first recorder with a 1.2V drive. 
It does not have MDLP functionality. 
It weighs 147 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
