Product Condition (Appearance):
Front Face - A few small marks and scratches.
Sides - A few small marks and scratches. Some damage around the battery cover.
Rear Face - A few small marks and scratches. Some damage around the battery cover.
No dents or signs of crushing.
All external facing screws present and tightened.

Product Condition (Functionality):
No power via gumstick battery due to damage of the internal battery terminals. Power via external battery case is OK. Do not attempt to open the battery cover as it may further damage the device.
The device reads most discs but can only play the first minute of a disc before it gets into difficulty. Optical pickup can move back towards the centre of a disc but has issues moving away from the centre.

Released in 1999, the Sony MZ-E90 has a magnesium case to reduce weight. 
It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
It features 40 second anti-shock protection, and digital megabass.
Due to its age it does not support MDLP.
It weighs 70 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
