It's possible to charge the internal Li-ion battery and get power to the device, but it doesn't read discs. It correctly detects if a disc is inserted or not, but then tries and fails to read the disc.
Product Condition (Appearance):
Front Face - A scratch/dent near the bottom. Some marks and scratches that are difficult to notice.
Sides - No callouts.
Rear Face - Some scratches and marks. Two or three tiny dents.
All external facing screws present and tightened.

The player does not read discs.
